Thomas Jordan

Mr. Thomas Jordan, 69, of Elberta, AL passed from this life Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, FL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, November 11, 1948 and was the oldest son of the late Nell Gilbert Jordan and Henry Jordan. Mr. Thomas grew up in Winchester, MS than he moved to Mobile, AL to continue his education at Yancey State College. Later he opened a heating and cooling business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was very creative in woodworking and leatherwork. Mr. Thomas is survived by his son, Michael Thomas; daughter, Jennifer Jordan Stewart (Andrew); his children's mother, Carolyn Loper Jordan all of Elberta, AL; aunt, Wilda Gilbert; uncle, Clarence Gilbert both of Mobile, AL; close cousin, Mena Arnold of Waynesboro, MS; 2 sisters, Linda Tatum Bryant, Susan Williams both of Mobile, AL; 2 brothers both of Mobile, AL; dear friends, Bill and Vera Curry both of Elberta, AL, Rod Moody, Annola Taylor both of Lillian, AL, Bobbie Cooksey of Buckatunna, MS, Patrick Busby of Winchester, MS and many other cousins and friends. Visitation for Mr. Jordan will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, June 22, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Donald Bond officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
