Sundra A. Smith

Mrs. Sundra A. Smith, 66, of Richton, MS passed from this life Friday, February 12, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on Thursday, May 6, 1954 to J. N. "Jake" Perry and Emma L. Perry. She was a member of Hickory Grove Holiness Church.  She had worked as the Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer of J. D. Smith Drilling, Incorporated and was also a Registered Nurse at Wayne General Hospital. Mrs. Sundra is preceded in death by her father, J. N. "Jake" Perry; mother, Emma L. Perry. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, J. D. Smith; son, Bobby Dewayne Smith, both of Richton, MS; daughter, Melinda Smith Dyess (Darwin), Millry, AL; three brothers, Justin Perry (Sue), Glennis Perry (Wanda), Terry Perry (Connie), all of Waynesboro, MS; four grandchildren, A. J. McLain, McKenzie Dyess, Alec Dyess, Alexius Smith. Visitation for Mrs. Sundra will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Hickory Grove Holiness Church, Wayne County, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Hickory Grove Holiness Church with Rev. Evan Freeman and Rev. Douglas Manning officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Holiness Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
