Sarah Ruth (Dean) Morgan

Mrs. Sarah Ruth Morgan, 83, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, April 8, 1935 to Robert and Bama Dean. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was retired as a clerk at Lauderdale Welfare Office. Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her mother, Bama Dean; father, Robert Dean; 2 daughters, Susan Lynette Smith, Sharon Ann Clark; 3 grandchildren, James Herring, Cristopher Pitts, Ryan Pitts. She is survived by her daughter, June Pitts (Paul Lossett), Waynesboro, MS; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Cooley (James Robson), Shannan Carr (Joe), Ian Thompson, Mark Weaver (Sonya), Michelle Albert (Brian); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Morgan will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
