Ronald "Ronnie" Moody

Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Moody, 76, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, November 6, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Columbia, MS on Tuesday, October 10, 1944 to Noel Raymond Moody and Doris Ellen McKay Moody. He was a member of Isney Baptist Church where he has served as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He had worked at Long Leaf Timber Company and Hood Industries before retiring as Owner and Operator of Moody Wood Working Shop. Mr. Moody is preceded in death by his father, Noel Raymond Moody; mother, Doris Ellen McKay Moody; nephew, Ryan Douglas Moody. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Wanda Moody, Waynesboro, MS; son, Ron Moody, Jr., Monroeville, AL; 2 daughters, Carmen Jay (Vince), Uriah, AL, Katie Brewer (Shane), Fruitdale, AL; brother, Andrew Moody, Waynesboro, MS; sister, Dr. Gloria Jean Moody, Nacogdoches, TX; 5 grandchildren, Jimmy Jay, Tonya Sneed (Anthony), Christopher Moody, Amy Moody, Brantly Brewer; 5 great grandchildren, Peyton, Brooklyn, Blayne, R J, and Keegan. Serving as pallbearers are, James "Bo" Cochran, Steve Cochran, Glenn Skipper, Casey Moody, Robert Moody, and Frank Moody. Visitation for Mr. Moody will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, November 9, 2020 at Isney Baptist Church in Silas, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 9, 2020 at Isney Baptist Church in Silas, AL with Rev. David Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Isney Cemetery in Silas, AL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Isney Cemetery Fund or a Charity of your choice.
