Mr. Ronald A. Thames, 69, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Port Sulphur, LA on Thursday, June 30, 1949 to Adron Archie and Dorothy Lucille Thames. Mr. Ronald was a member of Buckatunna First Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He worked in Construction as an Ironworker. Mr. Ronald is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Thames; father, Adron Archie Thames; brother, Ricky Thames. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Lucille Davis, Waynesboro, MS; 3 brothers, Rodney Thames (Janice), Buckatunna, MS, Tommy Davis (Renee), Waynesboro, MS, Benny Davis (Paula), Clinton, KY; 2 sisters, Sandra Lofton (Carl), Waynesboro, MS, Debbie Thames, Jackson, MS; honorary grandchildren, Cameron and Shelby Brewer. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Lewis Chapel Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS with Rev. John Brown officiating.
