Mr. Roger Eugene "Bubie" Gardner, Sr., 79, of State Line, MS passed from this life Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Chatom, AL on Saturday, November 29, 1941 to Eugene Gardner and Emma Jean Gardner. He was a member of Eret Baptist Church.  He had worked as an Equipment Operator at International Paper Company. Mr. Gardner is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Gardner; father, Eugene Gardner; mother, Emma Jean Gardner; brother, Wilbur Ray Gardner. He is survived by his son, Roger Eugene Gardner, Jr.; daughter, Dina Tate, both of State Line, MS; brother, David Miles, Mobile, AL; grandchild, Caitlyn Tate, State Line, MS. Visitation for Mr. Gardner will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Eret Baptist Church, State Line, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Eret Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. Glenn Bynum officiating. Interment will be in Chason Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
