Rita Massey Obituary

Mrs. Rita Harrington Massey, 93, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was born in Paulding, MS on Monday, April 6, 1925 to Thomas Herman Harrington and Catherine Bergin Harrington. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mrs. Massey is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. T. O. Massey; father, Thomas Herman Harrington and mother, Catherine Bergin Harrington; grandson, James Thomas Clark. She is survived by her son, Thomas Massey, Birmingham, AL; daughter, Rita Kay Massey Warren, Waynesboro, MS; several Nieces and Nephews; and last but not least, her beloved dog, Rose. Visitation for Mrs. Massey will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 401 Mississippi Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Thornton officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery.
