Rev. Hugh Holder-Cummings, 76, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, April 7, 2022, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born in Ocean Springs, MS on Saturday, December 15, 1945, to Rev. W. G. Cummings and Mary Shepherd Cummings. He was a United Methodist Minister for the United Methodist Conference for 38 years. He loved his wife and adored her, their children, and grandchildren. Rev. Hugh was a wonderful “Daddy”, “Papa” and “Papaw”, he was a teacher and passed on every piece of knowledge he could to his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered and loved until one day we join him in his healing. He lived his life with the verse, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless God’s Holy Name.” -Psalm 103:1. Rev. Hugh is preceded in death by his father, Rev. W. G.
