Ramona Lee (Napier) Walters

Mrs. Ramona Lee Walters, 66, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Sunday, June 14, 2020 at South Central Regional Medical Center. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, September 20, 1953 to Bobby Napier and Eleanor Glen Thames. She was a member of Lewis Chapel Southern Methodist Church.  She had worked as a Office Clerk at Adesa Car Auctions. Mrs. Walters is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Napier; mother, Eleanor Glen Thames; brother, Randy Napier; sister, Regina Waites. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Walters, Laurel, MS; son, Charles Ray Walters, Dauphin Island, AL; sister, Retha Napier, Laurel, MS; 3 grandchildren, Taylor Walters, Tyler Walters, Joseph Walters. Visitation for Mrs. Walters will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Lewis Chapel Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS with Rev. Richard Roach officiating. Interment will be in Lewis Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne Meadows, Curtis Meadows, Gary Jacobsen, Joseph Jacobsen, George Ewing, J. B. Sykes.
