Perry Lyn Jones

Perry Lyn Jones, 62, died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital. He gained comfort in knowing that his family was by his side for the 2 weeks that he battled many complicated health issues.

 Lyn was born November 18,1959 to Rubye Pearl and Albert Brown Jones. He was the youngest of 5 siblings. He lived part of his younger years in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana and the older portion of his life in Wayne County, Mississippi.

 In 1977, Lyn graduated from Buras High School where he met and married the love of his life, Miranda Gay Vernon. They married May 23, 1980 and had 3 children, Brandalyn, Brodie, and Brittany. 

 Lyn is survived by his wife, Miranda Jones; his 3 children, Brandalyn Jones Clark (Darrow Trenton Clark), Brodie Wayne Jones (Jodi McCarra Jones), and Brittany Jones Eagle (Joseph Matthew Eagle); 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Blaze Davis, McCarra Brooklyn Jones, Treston Brace Clark, Brodie Layne Jones, Brayton Row Clark, Christian Drake Jones, and Adrian Paul Jones; sister, Gloria Risen; and brother, Jerry Jones.

 He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Albert Wayne Jones and Shannon Duane Jones.

 Perry Lyn Jones will be remembered as a loving and supportive, hard working husband and father who provided for his family. A big kid at heart,  he loved to play jokes and be sarcastically witty.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Private Graveside Services for Lyn will be held Monday, January 17, 2022  at Kelley-Mozingo Cemetery due to sickness in the family.
