Pamela A. "Pam" Walley

Pamela A. "Pam" Walley, 58, of Clara, MS passed from this life Monday, September 27, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, September 25, 1963 to Jimmy Walley and Cecile Walley. She was a lifelong member of Clara First Church of God where she served as a longtime Sunday School teacher and led the Children’s Church ministry for many years. She also worked as a youth counselor for the youth camp for several years. She worked as a Tax Consultant at H & R Block for over 30 years. She was always willing to help others and always put others before herself. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Pam is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Walley; paternal grandparents, George and Bertie Mae Walley; maternal grandparents, Ed and Willie Jones; great nephew, Austin Brewer. She is survived by her mother, Cecile Walley, Clara, MS; brother, Mitchell Walley (Susan), Auburn, AL; two sisters, Wanda Cone, Runnelstown, MS, Rhonda McCarty (Jeffery), Clara, MS; lifelong friend, Kathy Stevens Tompkins, Clara, MS; three nephews, Greg Cone (Lacey); Chadd McCarty (Tasha), Todd Walley; three nieces, Heather Brewer (Cyle), Tonia McLaughlin (Matt); Tiffany Mosley (Zach); several great nieces and nephews, Gracie Brewer, Ryder, Ramsie, and Tate McCarty, Laynee Mosley, Tucker Cone, Braden Brewer, Daycie Mosley, Trent Cone, Jaxen Brewer, Chadley McCarty, Molly Mosley, and Easton McLaughlin; a host of family and friends. Visitation for Pam will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery. Pallbearers are Greg Cone, Chadd McCarty, Todd Walley, Matt McLaughlin, Zach Mosley, and Cyle Brewer. Honorary Pallbearers are Ryder McCarty, Tate McCarty, Tucker Cone, and Braden Brewer.
