Mr. Norman Trigg, Jr., 89, of Clara, MS passed from this life Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Wayne General Hospital. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, August 5, 1930 to Norman Trigg, Sr. and Bama Trigg. Mr. Norman was a member of Clara United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He also retired with many years of service in the United States National Guard. He graduated from both Mississippi State University and Louisiana Tech, earning two degrees. He worked for a number of years as a Forester. Mr. Trigg is preceded in death by his father, Norman Trigg, Sr.; mother, Bama Trigg; 2 sisters, Norma Elizabeth Willis, Neva Richardson. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Trigg, Clara, MS; son, Stan Trigg, Waynesboro, MS; 3 daughters, Candis Sue Trigg, Leeds, AL, Lisa Trigg, Clara, MS, Christi Trigg Crossley (Phillip), Vernon, AL; special friends, Keith Winters, Kimberly Hollinghead, both of Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mr. Trigg will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Long, III and Rev. Glenn Ray officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Herky Hardee, Chuck Hardee, Brian Mosley, Robert Dean, Bo Beard, William Bunch.
