Linda Carol Tiner

Linda Carol Tiner, 65, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, December 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro on Friday, August 21, 1953 to Floyd Holifield, Sr. and Quida Mae Holifield Jones. Linda was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church with strong family and spiritual ties to Little Rock Assembly of God.  She worked at Walmart for the last 12 years as a Door Greeter. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Holifield, Sr. and mother, Quida Mae Holifield Jones; brother, Jimmy Holifield. She is survived by 2 sons, Jacob Tiner (Margaret), Myrick, MS, Jason Tiner, Alamada, CA; daughter, Tiffany McIlwain (Steve), Laurel, MS; brother, Floyd Holifield, Jr. (Betty Sue), Waynesboro, MS; 4 grandchildren, Erin Tiner, Kylie Tiner, Creed Johnson, Sydney Johnson. Visitation for Linda will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Little Rock Assembly of God Church, 17 Little Rock Road, Waynesboro, MS. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM Saturday at Little Rock Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jason Merritt officiating. Interment will be in Arrington Cemetery.
