John Farris Cason, Jr.

Mr. John Farris Cason, Jr., 83, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He was born in Tennessee on Tuesday, March 9, 1937 to John F. Cason, Sr. and Kate Emma Cason. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church.  He had worked as a Mechanic. Mr. Cason is preceded in death by his father, John F. Cason, Sr.; mother, Kate Emma Cason; son, Robert Eugene Cason; two brothers, Raymond Trisler, J. C. Trisler; sister, Juanita Webb. He is survived by his wife, Carol Cason; three sons, Johnny Cason (Laurie), Carl Cason (Tina),  James Cason; brother, Alton Cason (Sammie), all of Waynesboro, MS; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Cason will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 24, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Mackey and  Rev. Bobby Walker officiating. Interment will be in Boice Cemetery.
