Mr. Joe Roney, 63, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Saturday, April 4, 2020 his residence. He was born in Laurel, MS on Tuesday, January 29, 1957 to Lee C. Roney and Minnie Lee Roney. Mr. Roney is preceded in death by his father, Lee C. Roney; mother, Minnie Lee Roney; 4 brothers, Lavell Roney, James Albert Roney, Allen Roney,  Richard Roney; sister, Glenda Yates. He is survived by 3 sisters, Barbara Ann Smith (T. J.), Meadville, MS, Martha Pitts (Norman), Ellisville, MS, Diann Overstreet (Arnold), Laurel, MS, Judy Patrick (Glenn), Laurel, MS. Graveside Services for Mr. Roney will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Grace Cemetery in Laurel, MS with Rev. Donald Moore officiating. Interment will be in Grace Cemetery.
