James Lee Waite

Mr. James Lee Waite, 87, of Millry, AL passed from this life Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born in Millry on Monday, August 6, 1934 to J. P. Waite and Mamie Lee Waite. He was a member of Independent Community Church. He had worked as a Night Watchman/Boiler Technician at Millry Mill. Mr. James Lee is preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Waite; father, J. P. Waite; mother, Mamie Lee Waite; son, James Etsil Waite; daughter, Annie Virginia Heckman; grandson, Jamie Lynn Gardner, two granddaughters, Michelle Waite, Brandi Leigh Waite. He is survived by his wife, Katie Lee Waite, Millry, AL; two sons, Wayne Waite (Margie), Chatom, AL, Darwin Waite, Leakesville, MS; three daughters, Marie Stoker (B. R.), Millry, AL, Teresa Crager (Wayne), Beverly Gardner (Calvin),both of State Line, MS; three brothers, Truman Waite (Frances), Mike Waite (Kathy), Norman Waite (Kathy); four sisters, Ciddie Lee Jones (Paul), Millry, Joyce Koen (Rev. Oliver), Shirley Whigham, Edna Beesley, all of Millry, AL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. James Lee will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Independent Community Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Independent Community Church with Rev. Jojo Weaver, Rev. Jim Koen, Rev. Mark Guy, and Rev. Sidney Hill officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL.
