Jackie M. Powe

Mr. Jackie M. Powe, 79, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Buckatunna, MS on Saturday, June 14, 1941 to Johnny Powe and Helen Busby Powe. Mr. Powe served in the United States Army. He was a member of Buckatunna First Baptist Church. He was retired as owner and operator of Kountry Video. Mr. Powe is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Powe; father, Johnny Powe; mother, Helen Powe. He is survived by his son, James Edward Powe, Buckatunna, MS; brother, Rodger Dale Powe, Dayton, TX; two sisters, Iris Bradley, Buckatunna, MS, Kerry McLaughlin, Waynesboro, MS; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside Service for Mr. Powe will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Buckatunna Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS with Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Interment will be in Buckatunna Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
