Mr. Frankie R. Harrison was born on July 3, 1950 and passed peacefully from this life into his savior's arms on Friday, March 26, 2021. In his early life, Mr. Harrison worked in oil production both in the United States and abroad allowing him to visit five continents. For the last several years, Mr. Harrison was the Owner/Operator of Southern Crane & Rigging enabling him to cultivate many cherished friendships. After retirement, Mr. Harrison enjoyed reading, gardening, working in his shop, and fostering a deeper relationship with his wife who he had been married to three weeks shy of 50 years, his two sons, his two Daughters-In-Law who were like daughters, and his four precious grandchildren. Even though he traveled extensively, Mr. Harrison always called Strengthford, Mississippi home.
Mr. Harrison was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church where he faithfully attended all services. He especially enjoyed his Men's Sunday School Class and Wednesday night's Bible Study brought by Brother Tageant.
Mr. Harrison is preceded in death by his father, Frank Harrison; mother, Rachel Harrison; three brothers, Zach Harrison, Charles Harrison, Billy Harrison. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Mills Harrison, Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Chris Harrison (Ashley), Matthew Harrison (Samantha), both of Waynesboro, MS; four grandchildren, Abigail Harrison, Zach Harrison, Jay Harrison, Weston Harrison; brother, James Harrison (Jessie), Clara, MS; two sisters, Ruby Davis (Waymon), Clara, MS, Martha Landrum (Don), Ricthon, MS; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Harrison will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, March 29, 2021 at Trinity First Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 29, 2021 at Trinity First Baptist Church with Rev. Breaux Tageant and Rev. Dewayne Lofton officiating. Interment will be in Trinity First Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mark Pitts, Todd Rowell, Kevin Davis, Ben Davis, Jeremy Harrison, Stacey Mosley, Gary Lovelace, Jerry Beasley. Honorary Pallbearers are Charles Cooley, Junior Beard, Jerry Freeman, Bobby Boyles.
