Dennis Trae McRae, 31, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born in Mobile, AL on Wednesday, January 4, 1989 to Dennis R. McRae and Connie H. Brewer. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He worked as a Subsea Engineer at Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling Company. Trae is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J. D. and Dorothy McRae; maternal grandparents, C. P. and Margie Heathcock. He is survived by his father, Dennis R. McRae, Buckatunna, MS; mother, Connie H. Brewer, Soso, MS; 2 brothers, Chris Davis, Phil Davis both of Soso, MS; sister, Hope Marshall (Jason), Soso, MS; 2 nephews, Connor Davis, Raelan Marshall; 2 nieces, Conlee Marshall, Callie Marshall; a host of other family and friends. Visitation for Trae will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 9, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. John Brown and Rev. David Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Zion Rest Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
