Chester Sullivan, Jr.

Mr. Chester Sullivan, Jr., 83, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Millry, AL on Sunday, April 30, 1939 to the late Chester Sullivan, Sr. and Augusta "Gus" (Guy) Sullivan. He was a member of Tabernacle Holiness Church. He was retired as a Truck Driver for Stein Motor Line and Washington County Commission. Mr. Sullivan is preceded in death by his parents, Chester Sullivan, Sr. and Augusta "Gus" Sullivan; brother, Arnold Decell Sullivan; sister, Marylyn Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mae Jewel Sullivan of Millry, AL; son, Ronald "Slick" Sullivan of Chatom, AL; three daughters, Kay Holyfield (Dale), Pam Groves (Billy Brown), both of Millry, AL, Lynn Mozingo (Steve) of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Evon Sullivan (Drula) of Chatom, AL; two sisters, Carolyn Stokley of Millry, AL, Rev. Cheryl Lankford of State Line, MS; five grandchildren, Matthew Groves (Sasha), Caleb "Goober" Sullivan, Dalton Holyfield (Brittany Carithers), all of Millry, AL, Jessica Malone (Austin) of Waynesboro, MS, Christen Cooley (Chance) of Clara, MS; three great grandchildren, Evan Clay Groves, Kaden Groves, Jameson Malone. Visitation for Mr. Sullivan will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, November 14, 2022 at Tabernacle Holiness Church, 2591 Tate Road, Millry, AL 36558. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2022 at Tabernacle Holiness Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Larry Daugherty, Rev. I. D. Sullivan, Rev. Jim Koen, and Rev. Cheryl Lankford officiating. Interment will be in Sandridge Cemetery in Millry, AL.
