Mr. Berry Paul Pitts, 81, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, December 31, 1936 to George Pitts and Willie Mae Davis Pitts. He retired as a superintendent in the Oil Field. Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Pitts; father, George Pitts; 4 brothers, B. Pitts, Luther Pitts, Sam Pitts, George Pitts, Jr.; 3 sisters, Maudie Rigdon, Jewel Jordan, Katherine Odom. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Houston (John) of Waynesboro, MS; 2 granddaughters, KyLeigh Odom (Scott) of Waynesboro, MS, Kasha Hughes (David) of Laurel, MS; 5 great grandchildren, Parker Odom, Heidi Odom, Alex Odom all of Waynesboro, MS, Sydney Baker, Gavin Hughes both of Laurel, MS. Pallbearers are: John Houston, Scott Odom, David Hughes, Larry Pitts, Lonnie Pitts, and Cody Pitts. Visitation for Mr. Pitts will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Boyles Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Bo Farrior officiating. Interment will be in Boyles Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
