Annie Elzada (Harris) Rawson

Mrs. Annie Elzada Rawson, 83, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Copeland, AL on Sunday, March 26, 1939 to the late Willis Harris, Sr. and Erma Harris. She was a member of Waynesboro First Assembly of God. She was retired as a self-employed cosmetologist. Mrs. Rawson is preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Rawson; parents, Willis Harris, Sr. and Erma Harris; son, Willis Patrick Rawson; four brothers, Winston Harris, Henry Evans Harris, Thurston Harris, Clarence Edward Murray; five sisters, Juanita Harris, Etheline Stinson, Pauline Ready, Maxine McInnis, Mattie Mae Bronson. She is survived by her son, Henry Dwayne Rawson (Karen); daughter, Angela Rawson Atchison, both of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Preston Harris, Jr. (Judy) of Mobile, AL; sister, Ruth Kendrick of Buckatunna, MS; five grandchildren, Jason Rawson (Ana), Jeremy Rawson, Holley Lewis (John), Andrea Atchison, Morgan Atchison; four great grandchildren, Remy Rawson, Dax Henderson, Asher Atchison, Miles Rawson. Visitation for Mrs. Rawson will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Ronnie Jarman, Rev. David Tennyson, Rev. Nick Holifield, and Rev. Jim Koen officiating. Interment will be in Boyles Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
