He was born in Meridian on Friday, March 19, 1976 to Thomas Henry Kirkwood and Linda M. Kirkwood. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Kirkwood is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Henry Kirkwood; grandfather, Sam B. Mauldin, Jr., grandmother, Annie Mae Mauldin, grandfather, John Kenneth Kirkwood, grandmother, Mittie S. Kirkwood McIlwain, step-grandfather, Robert L. McIlwain; uncles, John Lodge, Howard Syler; aunts, Barbara M. Clements, Alice Kirkwood, Pat Lodge; cousins, Joel Thomas Kirkwood, Melissa Lin Mauldin. He is survived by his mother, Linda M. Kirkwood, Waynesboro, MS; brother, Kenneth M. Kirkwood (Christen), Ledyard, CT; uncles, Sam B. Mauldin, III (Linda), Waynesboro, MS, John S. Kirkwood (Juanita) and Kenneth S. Kirkwood of Waverly, AL; aunt, Mirian Ann Syler, West Point, GA; nephew, Declan Kirkwood; niece, Maris Kirkwood. Visitation for Mr. Kirkwood will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2 Jones Walker Loop Road, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Charlie Laird officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
