Mrs. Sylvia Gipson Eubanks, 74, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in White Oak, MS on Sunday, August 20, 1944 to Joseph and Odell Gipson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was retired from public health care as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Eubanks is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Odell Gipson. She is survived by her loving husband, Ivan Q. Eubanks, Waynesboro, MS; son, Bryan J. Eubanks (Tina), Clinton, MS; daughter, Robin Rogers (Aaron), Helena, AL; brother, Stanley Gipson (Elaine), Petal, MS; 7 grandchildren, Cheyne Eubanks, Matthew Eubanks, Jacob Eubanks, Jenna Eubanks, Haley Rogers, Will Rogers, Jack Rogers. Visitation for Mrs. Eubanks will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
