Maxine Palmer Cochran

Mrs. Maxine Palmer Cochran, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wayne County on Wednesday, September 2, 1936 to M. L. Palmer and Eretta Palmer. She was a devoted wife to the Late Cecil "Sonny" Cochran, loving mother to her three daughters, and a dedicated member of Little Rock Assembly of God Church.  Mrs. Cochran is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Sonny" Cochran; parents, M. L. Palmer and Eretta Palmer; 4 brothers, Jimmy Palmer, M. L. Palmer, Jr., Wayne Palmer, Bobby Palmer; 5 sisters, Chalmus Nicholson, Ameris Cooley, May Joyce Dunnam, Katie Byrd, Linda Cooley; grandson, Ned Smith. She is survived by 3 daughters, Glenda Butler (Hayward), Hurley, MS, Brenda Ainsworth (Johnny), Waynesboro, MS, Sharon Crist (Edward), Waynesboro, MS; brother, Jerry Palmer (Gloria), Waynesboro, MS; 2 sisters, Willie Jean Sanderson (Hubert), Margaret Perry (Ray), Waynesboro, MS; 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Cochran will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Little Rock Assembly of God Church, 17 Little Rock Road, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2018 at Little Rock Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jason Merritt and Rev. Steven Ray Perry officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery.
