Margaret Stokley

Margaret Stokley, 90, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Buckatunna, MS on Saturday, March 16, 1929 to Shirley William Stokley and Arintha Ready Stokley. She was a charter member of First Assembly of God Church of Waynesboro, where she served as Church Secretary for 75 years. She retired from Wells Lamont as a Machine Operator. Margaret is preceded in death by her father, Shirley William Stokley and mother, Arintha Ready Stokley; 2 Brothers and 8 Sisters. She is survived by a brother, Herman Stokley and sister, Martha Winkles, both of Waynesboro; and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives. Visitation for Margaret will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Waynesboro First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Donald R. Suggs and Rev. Ronnie Jarman officiating. There will be a Lie-In-State 1 - 2 PM Friday at the church. Interment will be in Zion Rest Cemetery in Denham, MS.
