Mrs. Marcella Palmer, 87, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, September 16, 2019 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Yazoo City, MS on Monday, July 25, 1932 to John Taylor and Susie Taylor. She was a member of Clara First Baptist Church.  She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Palmer is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry G. Palmer; father, John Taylor; mother, Susie Taylor; son, John Paul Palmer; 2 daughters, Charlotte Laton, Kimberly Hutcherson; great grandson, Stephen Henry. She is survived by 3 sons, Jerry Wayne Palmer (Colleen), Gulfport, MS, Rudy Palmer (Kathy), Waynesboro, MS, Henry Palmer, Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Deborah Moody (Wendell), Richton, MS, daughter, Donna Herrin (Gene), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Gladys Lynam (Bill), Prattville, AL; 17 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Palmer will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Bradley officiating. Interment will be in Henderson Cemetery in Greene County, MS.
