M. L. "Faye" Loper

Mr. M. L. "Faye" Loper, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, October 02, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, November 29, 1936 to Mance Loper and Kate Loper. Mr. Loper was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church.  He was a Past Potentate of the Hamasa Temple Shrine in Meridian and was a member of Waynesboro Masonic Lodge. He served as Transportation Director for the Children Burn Center. He owned and operated Loper Auto. Mr. Loper is preceded in death by his wife, Guynell Loper; father, Mance Loper and mother, Kate Loper; brother, Hance C. Loper; sisters, Katie Lee Pryor and Jean Pryor. He is survived by his son, Randy Loper (Melissa), Daphne, AL; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sinclair, Waynesboro, MS; 4 grandchildren, Derek Loper, Little Rock, AR, Celeste Loper Miles, Collinsville, MS, Anna-Beth Loper, Collinsville, MS, Sebastin Loper, Daphne, AL. Visitation for Mr. Loper will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 5, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McEachern and Dr. Johnny Pryor officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
