Henry Gray Mills

Mr. Henry Gray Mills, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, July 31, 1932 to Claude Mills and Sue Betty Buxton Mills Hutcherson. Mr. Mills served in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Clara Church of God. He taught for many years in public education and retired from Clara High School as Vocational Agriculture Teacher. Mr. Mills is preceded in death by his mother, Sue Betty Mills Hutcherson; father, Claude Mills; 2 brothers, Bob Mills, James "Bo" Mills; sister, Lois Stevens; grandchild, Josh Boyles. He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia M. Mills, Clara, MS; 2 sons, Darrell Mills (Lisa), Tim Mills (Stephanie) both of Clara, MS; 2 daughters, Debra Boyles (Edwin), Clara, MS, Melinda Waller (Max), Strengthford Community, MS; 3 brothers, Charles Mills (Opal), Mobile, AL, Floyd Mills (Ollie), Waynesboro, MS, Roy Harold Mills (Dessie), Copeland, AL; sister, Betty Millsap (Frank), Clara, MS; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Wells, Stephanie Myers, Brandi Lindsey, Matthew Hinton, Bryce Mills; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Mills will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Clara Church of God, Clara, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 24, 2018 at Clara Church of God in Clara, MS with Rev. Arnold Amason, Rev. Floyd Mills, and Dennis Millsap officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
