Edda Davis Brown

Mrs. Edda Davis Brown passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, in Katy, TX.  She was born in Evansboro, AL and was 88 years old at the time of her death.  Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Rush Hospital School of Nursing in Meridian, MS. Her work experience included Providence Hospital (Mobile, AL), Mobile Infirmary (Mobile, AL), and D.W. McMillian Hospital (Brewton, AL). Prior to her move to Katy, TX in 2012, Mrs. Brown resided in Waynesboro, MS and was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, E. Alan (Renee’) Brown and Donna Brown (Carey) Ross; grandchildren, Laurie Ross (Jason) Jeansonne, Katie Ross (Ian) Brou, Lindsey Brown (Matthew) Rahn, Steven Brown, Allyn Ross (Evan) Suazo; great-grandchildren, Abby Jeansonne, Piper Jeansonne, Bianca Brou, Eliana Brou, Giada Brou, Hope Jeansonne, Rylin Eder, Francesca Brou; sister, Floy Davis Wade. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Brown; parents, Oscar and Ruth Davis; sister, Dee Davis Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at Coyt Baptist Church (175 Coyt Church Road, Waynesboro, MS 39367) on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.
