E. L. "Toby" McLain

Mr. E. L. "Toby" McLain, 75, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, May 11, 2018 in Hattiesburg. He was born in Waynesboro on Saturday, September 19, 1942 to Ellis McLain and Clyda Mae McLain. He was a member of McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church. He was self-employed in the Logging Industry. Mr. Toby is preceded in death by his father, Ellis McLain and mother, Clyda Mae McLain; son, Casey Nathaniel McLain; brothers, Bud McLain and Herbert McLain; sisters, Sally Whitehead, Gennieve Taylor and Lynette Craven. He is survived by his wife, Carol McLain, Waynesboro; sons, Toby McLain, Jr. and Joshua McLain of Waynebsoro; daughters, Joann Waites and Natalie  Jones of Waynesboro; brothers, Harold McLain, Waynesboro, Jim "Buddy" McLain, Maryland, Dion McLain, Waynesboro, T. J. McLain, Waynesboro, Lonnie McLain, Waynesboro; sister, Sarah "Tennie" Hendry, Ann Freeman, Yvonne Smith, Katie Cochran, all of Waynesboro; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Toby will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 13, 2018 at McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 14, 2018 at McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro with Rev. Bart Whitehead and Rev. Aaron Cooley officiating. Interment will be in Boyles Chapel Cemetery.
