Bertha Mae (Worsham) Stokley

Mrs. Bertha Mae Stokley, 92, of Silas, AL passed from this life Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL. She was born in Choctaw County, AL on Friday, February 26, 1926 to William L. Worsham and Thelma Ermalie Beard Worsham. She was a member of Silas First Baptist Church. She was retired as a machine operator for Choctaw Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Stokley is preceded in death by her husband, Clint Stokley; father, William L. Worsham; mother, Thelma Ermalie Worsham; sister, Willie Lee Worsham Davis. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Serving as pallbearers are: John Singley, Clay Faile, Chris Faile, Joseph L. "Bud" Worsham, Bobby R. Stokley, and Leon Stokley; honorary pallbearers are the Washington County Nursing Home employee's. Visitation for Mrs. Stokley will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Silas First Baptist Church in Silas, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2018 at Silas First Baptist Church in Silas, AL with Rev. Randy Byrd and Rev. Michael Elliott officiating. Interment will be in Edgar Cemetery in Silas, AL.
