Barbara (Jones) Mosley

Mrs. Barbara Mosley, 83, of Waynesboro, MS passed peacefully away from this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Wayne County, MS on March 24, 1935. Barbara was a homemaker that loved her family and friends. She was a long-time member of Waynesboro Church of Christ.

Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her husband, William Conde (Bill) Mosley, father, Charlie Jones and mother, Emily Heathcock Jones.

She is survived by four sons, Gary Mosley (Karen), Carey Mosley (Cathy) both of Laurel, MS, Jerry Mosley (Lynn), Larry Mosley (Ethel) both of Waynesboro, MS, two daughters, Charlotte Mosley, Jackie Mosley DeLeo (Rob) both of Ooltewah, TN a sister, Mrs. Annette Jones Thomas of Shubuta, MS and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Lamb (Ted) of Pensacola, FL. She had nine grandchildren, 14 great grand-children and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held Saturday, June 16th, from 9am to 11am, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11am, officiated by Seth Sullivan and Terry Heathcock, followed by interment at Serenity Gardens.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Cody Mosley, Brock Mosley Shane Mosley, Zachary Mosley, Blake Johnson, and nephew, Berry Thomas.
