Andrew "White" Arnold

Mr. Andrew "White" Arnold, 88, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Sunday, November 3, 2019 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, February 8, 1931 to Johnnie Lee Arnold, Sr. and Leona West Arnold. He attended West Shady Grove Baptist Church.  He retired from the United States Army as First Sergeant, having served as a Veteran in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era. Mr. Arnold is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Lee Arnold, Sr.; mother, Leona Arnold; brother, Johnnie Lee "Red" Arnold, Jr.; 2 sisters, Christine Waller, Carolyn Arnold. He is survived by his wife, Doris Arnold, Shubuta MS; brother, Howard Arnold (Janelle), Waynesboro, MS; 2 sisters, Jo Ferguson, Waynesboro, MS, Cecilia Miller (Alal), Laurel, MS. Visitation for Mr. Arnold will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Monday, November 4, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, November 4, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Ervin Mooney officiating. Interment will be in Arrington Cemetery.
