William Burel Henderson

   Mr. William Burel Henderson, 85, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born in Clara, MS on Sunday, August 25, 1940, to the late Burel Pat Henderson and Etta Mae Campbell Henderson. He was a member of Clara First Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher. He was a member of The Gideons International. He retired as an Oil Field Superintendent. After retiring he became owner and operator of Henderson Site Prep.

   Mr. Henderson is preceded in death by his parents, Burel Pat Henderson and Etta Mae Campbell Henderson; sister, Wilma Cherry. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Bobbie J. Henderson of Clara, MS; son, Marlon J. Miller (Jen) of Chiefland, FL; two grandchildren, Bryndle Miller and Seth Collins.

   Visitation for Mr. Henderson will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Clara First Baptist Church, 35 Clara School Road Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Clara First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jason Sehon officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International.
