Wanda Mae Pitts

Wanda Mae Pitts, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Merissa, IL on Sunday, December 14, 1941 to Barney Brewington and Mae King Brewington. She retired from Howard Industries as a Line Worker. Wanda is preceded in death by her son, Edward Grindstaff and two Great Grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Robert Grindstaff (Charlotte), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Debbie Carlisle, Sullivan, MO; twin-brother, Jim Brewington (Saphrona), Fredericktown, MO, brother, Jerry Brewington (Cheryl), Arnold, MO; 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Wanda will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery.
