Mr. Walter Mack Rigney, 77, of State Line, MS passed from this life Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, August 5, 1942 to Vernon and Josephine Rigney. He worked as a self-employed Farmer. Mr. Rigney is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Rigney; mother, Josephine Rigney; 3 brothers, Maxwell Rigney, Ellis "Pug" Rigney, Ray Rigney; sister, Betty Jo Simmons. He is survived by his brother, Kevin Rigney (Judy), State Line, MS; 2 sisters, Carolyn Sanderson (Glenn), Frost Bridge Community, MS, Catherine Smith, Laurel, MS; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Rigney will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
