Mrs. Violet Joyce Royals, 95, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, February 3, 2020 at Southern Living. She was born in Cullman, AL on Wednesday, December 3, 1924 to Fred Anderton and Pearl Anderton. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. She had worked as a Owner/Operator at Royals Jewelers. Mrs. Royals is preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Royals; father, Fred Anderton; mother, Pearl Anderton; 2 brothers, Fredrick Anderton, Bob Anderton. She is survived by 2 daughters, Brenda Sigler (Gary), Waynesboro, MS, Vivian Fisher (Rick), Waynesville, NC; brother, Charles Anderton, Pontiac, MI; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Royals will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Smith and Rev. David Hill officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Waynesboro or a charity of your choice.
