Tristan Layne Woodson, 18, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Perry County, MS. He was born in Hattiesburg, MS on Sunday, December 15, 2002 to Nicole Bonner and David Woodson. He was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was a graduate of the Wayne County High School class of 2020. Tristan is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Debbie Turner; paternal grandfather, Terry Woodson. He is survived by his mother, Nicole Bonner (Chris Tiner), Waynesboro, MS; father, David Woodson (Heather), Petal, MS; brother, Braylon Turner; two sisters, Jaelyn Bonner, Alivia Woodson; maternal grandfather, Jack Turner (Gina), Waynesboro, MS; paternal grandmother, Glenda Woodson, Petal, MS; aunt, Amy Pitts, Waynesboro, MS; uncle, Jack Turner, Waynesboro, MS; two cousins, Taylor Pitts, Lakin Turner. Pallbearers are Brandon Baggett, Ben Pittman, Jordan Turner, Jacob Cheeks, Truman Finney, and Jamie Pitts. Visitation for Tristan will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 3, 2021 at West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 4, 2021 at West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Bob Robinson officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Mask and Social Distancing are required of those in attendance of services.
