Thomas Roland Bishop

   Mr. Thomas Roland Bishop, 73, of Millry, AL passed from this life Friday, February 27, 2026, at residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, October 15, 1952, to the late Arthur E. Bishop, Sr. and Virginia Lenora Bishop. Mr. Bishop was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served as a faithful Deacon for many years. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked as a forester for over 38 years at Scotch Plywood in Waynesboro, MS.
   Mr. Bishop is preceded in death by his father, Arthur E. Bishop, Sr.; mother, Virginia Lenora Bishop Moss; stepfather, Thomas E. Moss; sister, Virginia Young; Sister-In-Law, Grace Moss. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Janette Bishop; two daughters, Valerie Gant (Donald, Jr.) and Regina Williams (Corey); four grandchildren, Christian Rogers (Riley), Caitlyn Gant (Daxton West), Thomas "Wyatt" Williams, and Caleb Williams; three great grandchildren, Rilynn Rogers, Wrenley Pritchett, and Riggs Rogers; two brothers, Arthur E. Bishop, Jr. (Bettie) and Thomas Moss (Valerie); Brother-In-Law, Ed Young; a host of nieces and nephews.
   Visitation for Mr. Bishop will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Wyatt Williams, Caleb Williams, Brock Guy, Arthur Bishop, III, T.J. Moss, and William "Bobo" Waite. Honorary Pallbearers are Riley Rogers and Daxton West.
