Thomas E. Johnson, Jr.

   Mr. Thomas E. Johnson, Jr., 81, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sunflower County, MS on Sunday, July 23, 1944, to the late Thomas E. Johnson, Sr. and Myrtle Lee Johnson. He retired after 33 years as an Industrial Welder.

   Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Langley Johnson of Shubuta, MS; two daughters, Laura Van Orden of Shubuta, MS and Lindy Conner (Clay) of Waynesboro, MS; 7 brothers and 4 sisters; three grandchildren, Cammy Conner, Chelsey Conner, and Joseph Van Orden.

   A Private Service for Mr. Johnson will be held by his family at Yellow Creek Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Clay Conner officiating.
