Mr. Ted E. Finch, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Laurel, MS on Sunday, December 24, 1933 to the late Ted and Augusta Finch. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waynesboro, MS. He was retired as a self-employed electrician. Teddy Finch was the most meek, wise, humble, and smartest person. People had the utmost respect for him and always sought his council. He knew that death was near but just as Christ rose Teddy also had the hope of resurrection. He loved his God Jehovah, and he loved his son, Our Master, Jesus. He walked the path the Master walked as best as he could in his imperfect condition. Teddy believed with all his heart, soul, mind, and spirit that he was justified and declared righteous through what the Messiah did and not of himself. Anyone that knew him and had any dealings with him knew that he was a humble man that always took the lowest seat. He will be greatly missed but it’s only temporary. He sleeps with the faithful men of old until he is awakened by Jesus. (John 5:28-29) Mr. Finch is preceded in death by his wife, Avis Finch; parents, Ted and Augusta Finch; brother, Jack Finch; three sisters, Ada Musgrove, Betty Ousley, Dorothy Norsworthy. He is survived by his son, Ralph Finch; daughter, Virginia Brown, both of Waynesboro, MS. A Memorial Service for Mr. Finch will be held at 12:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waynesboro, MS.
