Ruby Lee (Bodie) Waller

Mrs. Ruby Lee Bodie Waller, 90, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, February 8, 1931 to Berry Bodie and Hattie Bodie. She was a member of Waller Ridge Assembly of God. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Waller is preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Waller; father, Berry Bodie; mother, Hattie Bodie; twin infant daughters; two brothers, Wendell Bodie, Willie Bodie; two sisters, Marie Boykin, Anna Faye Bodie; two Sons-In-Law, John Stallings, Dennis Lott; Daughter-In-Law, Laura Waller; grandson, Robert Waller; great grandson, Robert Elijah Dycus. She is survived by her two sons, Paul L. Waller, Jr., Stanley Waller; four daughters, Pauline Waller (Julius), MayBell Stallings (Jamie Miller), Ruby Lott (Preston James), Jo Wallace (Donis); two brothers, Harvey Bodie, Nelson Bodie; sister, Gertie Butler; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Doss (Chris), Stephanie Newsome (Kenny), Daisey Waller, Jessica Waller, Michael Lott (Julie), Brandi Dycus (Robert), Valeria Porche (Jess), Ashley White (Brent), Joshua Brady (Erica), Jeremy Brady (Lauren); 25 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. Graveside Services for Mrs. Waller will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Waller Ridge Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Curtis Cain officiating.
