Ronnie Walley, Sr.

Mr. Ronnie Walley, Sr., 76, of Collins, MS passed from this life Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. He was born in Pascagoula on Tuesday, November 25, 1947 to Willis Wilson Walley and Jewel Juanita Walley. Mr. Walley served in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He worked as a Welder in Construction. Mr. Walley is preceded in death by his father, Willis Wilson Walley; mother, Jewel Juanita Walley; beloved companion, Geraldine Mott; daughter, Tia Beck; sister, Sandra Brownlee; grandson, Colton Daniels. He is survived by his son, Ronald Douglas "J. R." Walley, Jr. (Kim); three daughters, Shawana Smith, Alesha Herrin (Todd), Laura Walley (Jody Daniels); two sisters, Cathy Brownlee, Carol McGill; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service for Mr. Walley will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 14, 2024 at Henderson Cemetery in Greene County, MS.
