Raymond Doyle Stallings

  Mr. Raymond Doyle Stallings, 78, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Friday, February 5, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in Shubuta on Friday, October 9, 1942 to Abner H. Stallings and Sallie Stallings. He was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. He was self-employed as a Mechanic.   
  Mr. Stallings is preceded in death by his father, Abner H. Stallings and mother, Sallie Stallings; and sister, Doris Stewart. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret Dianne Stallings, Shubuta, MS; son, Byron D. Stallings (Heather), Shubuta, MS; two daughters, Julie Brown (Mark), Decatur, GA, Tonya Roberson (Michael), Quitman, MS; two brothers, Roy Shelton Stallings (Ann), Shubuta, MS, James Stallings, Robertsdale, AL; five grandchildren, Paige Blanks, Marley Roberson, Ben Davis Brown, Guage Stallings, Braylon Stallings; and one great grandchild, Layken Blanks. 
  Visitation for Mr. Stallings will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. William Chancellor officiating. Interment will be in Hephzibah Cemetery in Shubuta, MS.
