Peggy (Parnell) Mozingo

Peggy Mozingo, 74, of State Line, MS passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. She was born in Waynesboro on Saturday, January 11, 1947 to Dan and Alice Parnell. She was a Homemaker.

Peggy is preceded in death by her father, Dan Parnell and mother, Alice Parnell; son, Mark Mozingo; two sisters, Janice Pippen and Doris Bunch. She is survived by two sons, Joe Mozingo (Tammy), Clara, MS, Mike Mozingo (Adeline), Waynesboro, MS; three brothers, Terry Parnell, Waynesboro, MS, Grady Parnell, Waynesboro, MS, Gary Parnell, Pascagoula, MS; two sisters, Shelia Stewart, Clara, MS, Francis James, Waynesboro, MS; seven grandchildren, Jessica Roberson (Corey), Joey Mozingo, Daniel Mozingo (Peyton), Ty Mozingo, Cody Mozingo (Amber), Colt Mozingo (Lakyn), Jonathan Bryant (Victoria); and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation for Peggy will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Smith and Rev. David Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery.
