Pauline Rowell Fulmer, 77, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, March 13, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Laurel, MS on Sunday, June 21, 1942 to Chester Rowell and Mildred Rowell.
Pauline is perhaps best known for her strong work ethic that dates back many years. She has held numerous jobs throughout her life- some of which include working at the Northern Electric/Sunbeam blanket factory, several years employed at the South Mississippi Correctional Institution as a Prison Guard, and perhaps most notably, her last job at the Huff and Puff Smokehouse. She made a lasting impact on many customers by the way she greeted each one with a cheerful smile, but also by the way she went about her duties with tremendous diligence and sense of responsibility.
Mrs. Pauline is preceded in death by her father, Chester Rowell; mother, Mildred Rowell; 2 sisters, Linda Soudelier and Evelyn Wade. She is survived by her son, Tim Williams, Waynesboro, MS; 2 daughters, Fran Beyke (Randy), Flowery Branch, GA, Christy McLeod (Quentin), Monticello, MS; 2 brothers, Paul C. Rowell, Vossburg, MS, George Rowell, Quitman, MS; 2 sisters, Dale Bunch (Bobby), Waynesboro, MS, Kathey Rowell, Houston, Texas, 5 grandchildren, Landon Williams, Luke Williams, Mason Beyke, Gabriella McLeod, Ava McLeod.
Visitation for Mrs. Pauline will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Olson, Rev. Scott Morris, and Rev. Randy McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Goodwater Cemetery in Clarke County, MS.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pauline's sitters Tae Hill, Ladondra Washington, and Margie Odom for taking such good care of her. They went above and beyond the call of duty, always willing to go the extra mile to make Pauline's quality of life the best it could be.
