Paul B. Busby, Sr.

   Mr. Paul B. Busby, Sr., 80, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, August 30, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, November 8, 1944, to the late Newt and Ethel Davis Busby. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waynesboro, MS. He retired as an owner and operator of Busby's Floor Covering. 
   Mr. Busby is preceded in death by his parents, Newt and Ethel Davis Busby; five brothers, Neborn Busby, Floyd Busby, Arthur Busby, Lester Busby, and Robert Earl Busby; two sisters, Myrtle Harrison and Alice Overstreet. He is survived by three sons, Paul Busby, Jr. (Rhonda) of Northport, AL, Lesley Busby of Waynesboro, MS, and David Busby of Houston, TX; brother, Noah Fonda Busby (Sherry) of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Gladys McMichael of Waynesboro, MS; three grandchildren, Ashley Busby Cochran (Coyleton), Brittney Busby, and Kaitlynn Busby Locke (Clint); 7 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. 
   A Graveside Service for Mr. Busby will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 1, 2025, at Shirley Place Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Interment will be in Shirley Place Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
