Patricia "Pat" (Grimes) McMichael

   Mrs. Patricia "Pat" McMichael, 75, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, AL. She was born in Millry, AL on Friday, May 20, 1949, to the late Anaise and Clarence Love Grimes. She was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. She retired as a Secretary of the Nursing Program at JCJC (Jones College).

   Mrs. Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Anaise and Clarence Love Grimes; brother, John Allen Grimes; two sisters, Caroline Peacock and Shirley Bass. She is survived by her loving husband of 9 years, Dale McMichael of Waynesboro, MS; three sons, Tracy Goldman (Chasity) of Sandersville, MS, Jason Goldman (Michelle) of Eight Mile, AL, and Jamie Pitts of Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Lynn Smith (Brent) of Citronelle, AL; stepson, Jonathan McMichael (Pam) of Waynesboro, MS; stepdaughter, Kayla Powell (Tony) of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Robert Grimes (Becky) of Millry, AL; two sisters, Margaret Gardner of Millry, AL and Alice Carlisle (Mike) of Gilbertown, AL; 11 grandchildren, Gavin Goldman, Alexandra Goldman, E'Laina Goldman, Isabella Pitts, Taylor Pitts, Dustin Allen (Kaytlin), Nick Allen (Leslie), Hope Johnston, Bella McMichael, Ryan Powell, and Nathan Powell; two great grandchildren, Molly Kate Allen and Holden Allen.

   Visitation for Mrs. Pat will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at West Shady Grove Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2025, at West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Stephen Smith and Rev. Ervin Mooney officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
