Mr. Norman Milton Hudson, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Jeff Anderson Memorial Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born in Bellflower, CA on Monday, April 2, 1934 to Truman Oliver Hudson and Dola M. Hudson. Mr. Norman served in the United States Navy as a Radio Operator and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged from the Navy receiving the National Defense Service Medal. After the war he met Doris in 1966 in North Sacramento, California where they immediately fell in love with each other. He retired as a maintenance mechanic supervisor at McDonald Douglas Aircraft in 1993 and decided to move back to Waynesboro. After moving to Waynesboro he served on the Hiwanne Water Association for several years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. He operated the church bus to pick up school children and seniors for several years. He also filled in for the camera operator on Sundays at First Baptist. Mr. Hudson is preceded in death by his parents, Truman Oliver Hudson and Dola M. Hudson; brother, William Hudson; sister, Jean Laverne. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Doris Mae Pitts Hudson; four sons, Robert Hudson, Ronald Hudson, Richard Hudson, Rocky Hudson; three daughters, Shirlene Hudson Masiel, Betty Beasley, Dianne Ralls; 16 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
